Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Riverside and Lake Elsinore
When Weekly Is Not Enough, But A Facility Is Too Much
Some situations need more than a standard weekly session can carry. When the pull is strong, the pattern runs deep, or you have already tried the lighter version and watched it come apart, one hour a week is not going to be the thing that keeps you steady. Pretending otherwise just sets up another failed attempt.
Our intensive outpatient program is built for that middle ground. It gives you more hours, more structure, and more support than standard outpatient, without requiring you to move into a facility and step away from your life. You get serious help while still sleeping at home and staying connected to the people and responsibilities that give recovery a reason to hold.
What The Added Structure Actually Does
IOP means more frequent sessions and a fuller schedule of individual and group counseling, grounded in the twelve-step model. The extra structure is the entire point. It builds the muscle of a sober routine while you still have steady support underneath you to catch the things that trip you up, before they turn into a slip.

Stronger Support for Early Recovery
A Step In A Longer Plan, Not A Dead End
IOP is rarely the whole story, and it is not meant to be. For a lot of people it is the stronger start that makes everything after it possible. As you get more stable, you step down into standard outpatient counseling with the same organization, so you are never discharged to a stranger the moment you are ready to ease off the intensity.
And as with everything we do, aftercare is built in for the long stretch after the formal program ends, because that is where recovery is truly tested. IOP is available at both offices and online where appropriate, in English and Spanish.
